  • Life experience: what to believe and how to believe?

“Inquire the Absolute”. — What should you do with your life? — Powerful mercy of “Bhagavad-gita” and tilak, the Lord’s paraphernalia. — Krishna gives us exposure to the best. — The Infinite mixes with the finite. — What is your life? — Haunting remembrance of Krishna consciousness. — Heart seeks feeling, not knowledge. — Do not apply intellect to divinity. — Types of experience and defects of human beings’ perception. — A fight with mortality. — Water on the lotus leaf: no one knows how much time they have. — “To believe or not to believe?” — that is the question. — Quantity and quality the knowledge. — The transfer of heart through service. — Bhakti Premik Siddhanti Maharaj: willingness to sacrifice yourself in service to your Guru. — Siddhanta is Krishna. Siddhanta is heart. Without heart it’s just intellectualism. — Senses are meant to serve the Lord. — “Maya is almost non-existent”. — Offer yourself in service to the lovers of Krishna: Siddhanti Maharaj and Srila Swami Prabhupada. — Siddhanti Maharaja’s tireless kirtan style.

Siddhanta is about heart, actually. It’s not some separate thing that intellectuals got lost in. Krishna is siddhanta. Siddhanta is Krishna. Siddhanta is heart. Without heart it’s just intellectualism.

Krishna descends. He consents to reveal Himself to you. How? — Through humble acts of devotion… He’s irresistibly drawn to the devotees; cannot but reveal Himself to them. Cannot conceal Himself from their loving eye.

From the beginning He is showing something to the sincere heart, touching the sincere heart… Hearing something about Krishna and appreciating that. And then the heart is touched. And it’s repeatedly touched until it’s engulfed in Krishna’s loving embrace. And all these superficial things that appear to have a stranglehold upon the heart, vanish.

So if you come in connection with someone who actually has love and affection for Krishna, the best thing you can do is serve them. Offer yourself in service to them… If you meet a Mahabhagavata, means — a lover of Krishna, someone who loves Krishna, has that — what should you do? — Offer yourself in service to them.
