    1 The grove-dwelling on the banks of Rādha-kuṇḍa,
    Govardhan mountain, the banks of River Jamunā;

    kalinda-nandinī vipula-taraṅgā
    2 Kusuma-sarovar lake, Mānasa-gaṅgā river,
    The rolling waves of Jamunā, daughter of the sun;

    vṛndāvana-taru latikā-vānīra
    3 Place of the Rāsa dance, and Gokula, the gentle breezes,

    6 I know all these things are nourishing the Pastimes of the Divine Couple,
    I can feel they arouse the holy Pastimes of the Lord;

    e soba choḍata parāṇa hārāu̐
    7 I can never leave all these things so dear to me,
    Without them I know I’ll surely die;

    8 Hear me, O Kāna, says Śrī Bhaktivinoda:
    You are the only light of my life.
