Question: How can we develop one point determination in our bhakti- yoga practice? Please can you give an example of these. Bhakti Lalita Well, Srila Rupa Goswami wrote verse in the mood of chatak bird, praying to the cloud for rain and the chatak bird is a perfect example determination of chastity, of surrender dedication, because tha chatak bird well only take water from the rain cloud and not from the earth, not from any palmed any source of water you may find on the ground and so determined that it will die, if it doesn't get water from the rain cloud and Srila Rupa Goswami wrote: "viracaya dandam dina bandhu dayam va" "O cloud, please give one drop of water and you may punish me, you may strike me with lightning and thunder flood me with torrential rain, you ma ignore me, but i'm praying to you humbly for one drop and i cannot take so much water, i have a small beak on the one drop, well, satisfy me and fulfill my need, please, be mercyful and he prayes to the Lord, like the cloud: " O, Dina Bandhu, friend of the fallen, Lord of the helpless and the poor, please, give one drop of devotion to me". And we see such a beautiful expression and giving us understanding of what it's like to sincerely aspire for mercy, devotion, drop of nectar, such a one point it determined mood of devotion that i don't want mercy for anything from anywhere else and fixed at one point praying sincerely. And this exemplifies the fact that are fulfilment  her happiness existens will be on me satisfied in above from the above, from nectar from above nothing on this earth, anything mundane, anything in material... will satisfy us, we must search for our fortune in more elevated consciousness in a higher plane from the divine personalities, from the supreme truth personified. So, we want to be like this chatak bird and ready to sacrifice and surrender be chased, one point it in our devotion, knowing we may not get anything, we may fail in our attemps to attract the rain from the cloud. We don't care and we're here and to give our hearts, give our lives highest thing. So, this point of dedication is our yoga practice. We're practicing to be focused on the divine higher plane and get out sustenance from above, nothing here. So, that's my answer
